These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of the holiday property Beau Rivage located at 115 Colne Way, Point Clear Bay, CO16 8LW. By booking this Property, you (“Guest” or ”you”) agree to the following terms.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received. Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent to you with your booking details. The person making the booking must be an adult (18 years or older).
1.2 Payment Terms
A deposit of £200 is required at the time of booking. The full balance is due 4 weeks before the start of your stay. If the balance is not paid by the due date, the booking may be cancelled, and any deposit paid will be forfeited.
1.3 Refunds & Cancellations
If you cancel your booking:
More than 4 weeks before your arrival date, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, minus an administration fee of £50 GBP.
Less than 4 weeks before your arrival date, no refund will be given.
We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
Amendments to dates may be considered, subject to availability.
1.4 Security Deposit
A security deposit of £50 GBP is required prior to check-in. The deposit will be refunded after your stay, provided the property is left in good condition.
2. Check-In & Check-Out
2.1 Check-In Time
Check-in is from 4 PM on the day of arrival.
2.2 Check-Out Time
Check-out must be completed by 10 AM on the day of departure. Late check-outs may incur an additional charge unless agreed in advance.
2.3 Early Arrival/Delayed Departure
Early arrivals or late departures are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3. Use of the Property
3.1 Occupancy
The maximum number of guests permitted in the Property is 5 persons (6 if the 6th is a baby 0-2 using the/a travel cot), including children. Exceeding this number may result in immediate termination of your booking, without refund.
3.2 No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Property. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in a charge for cleaning or fumigation.
3.3 Pets
We have a strict ‘no pets’ policy due to potential future guest allergies. As much as we love our furry friends, they will not be able to join you on this break, sorry.
3.4 Damage & Loss
You agree to take care of the Property during your stay and are responsible for any damage or loss caused by you or your guests. Damages will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the payment method provided.
3.5 Noise & Conduct
Guests are expected to behave in a manner that does not disturb the neighbours or others staying in the vicinity. Excessive noise, especially during the night, may result in termination of the booking without refund.
3.6 No Parties or Events
Parties or events are not permitted unless agreed in advance with the Property owner.
4. Liability and Insurance
4.1 Liability
The Property owner is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to guests or their property during their stay. This includes accidents, theft, or injury caused by the Property, facilities, or the surrounding area.
4.2 Insurance
We recommend that you obtain travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events during your stay.
5. Complaints and Issues
If you encounter any issues during your stay, please contact us immediately, and we will make every effort to resolve the situation. If we are unable to address the issue, please inform us in writing within 28 days after your departure.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Personal Data
We will collect personal data for the purpose of booking and managing your stay. Your information will be stored securely and not shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
6.2 Marketing
By booking the Property, you agree to receive emails and communications related to your stay, as well as occasional promotional emails. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.
7. Force Majeure
The Property owner will not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling their obligations due to events outside of their control, such as fire, flood, strike, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
